Town kids thanked the Central Mille Lacs United Way for its donation of
$1,921.52 to the after school care program (and summer child care program)
for kids in grades kindergarten through fifth. "We will be using this money
to go towards supplies for art projects, field trips and snacks," said Kids
Town Coordinator Nikki Hartung. "We greatly appreciate the United Way's support
given to our program over the years." |

"Your contribution goes a long way to help us maintain the quality of vision and hearing prevention outreach and awareness services we provide the communities we visit. Your generosity helps our organization continue to be vital and we thank the Mille Lacs community for their continued support and dedication to our outstanding programs and services". - Sight & Hearing Association |

"With these funds we will be able to continue serving the people in the Milaca and Princeton areas who need help. Specifically, we reach out to the elderly living alone who need meals delivered, transportation to medical appointments, light housekeeping, or a friendly visit. This allows them to remain independent and enjoy a better quality of life." - Rum River Interfaith Caregivers |
